O'Clock Kumamoto Opera Company was launched in Kumamoto by Coremix, a manga publishing company known for many masterpieces such as "Fist of the North Star," "City Hunter," and "Record of Ragnarok." Popular manga characters are performed by an all-female cast, captivating audiences with their one-of-a-kind stage performances. This theater company, which has attracted attention not only from the manga industry but from all walks of life, is now holding auditions for new members.
◆Qualifications and required skills
・No experience necessary
・Preference will be given to those with experience in dance, sword fighting, singing, or acting.
・Those who can participate in rehearsals and performances in Kumamoto
◆Conditions
Contract type: Outsourcing contract
Contract term: 1 year contract (renewal by agreement)
Financial conditions: Monthly fixed salary + incentives
*No ticket quota.
*There are no fees for lessons within the theater company curriculum or for using facilities.

Currently, O'Clock Kumamoto Opera Company is hosting a live-action adaptation of the popular manga series "Monthly Comic Zenon" published by Core Mix."Keiji Maeda's Kabuki Journey"(Original story: Hara Tetsuo, Horie Nobuhiko, Illustrations: Deguchi Masato) is adapted for the stage. It tells the story of a year after the Battle of Sekigahara, when the eccentric Maeda Keiji, who is exiled from all over the country, travels Kyushu in search of the "winds of war."
First production: Stage play "Maeda Keiji Kabuki Journey - The Tiger of Higo, Kato Kiyomasa"
Second production: Stage play "Maeda Keiji Kabuki Journey - Oni Shimazu's female swordsman, Yuzuki"
Third work: Stage play "Maeda Keiji Kabuki Journey - Flower of the Warring States Period, Hosokawa Gracia"

On December 20, 2024, Core Mix will open Kumamoto Manga Arts in the center of Kumamoto City, which will house a new theater that will serve as the new home for the O'Clock Kumamoto Opera Company, as well as a manga-themed art gallery.
