February 2026Coamix is working in collaboration with the Kumamoto Prefectural Board of Education and Takamori Town.The graduation exhibition by the first graduating class of the Manga Department at Kumamoto Prefectural Takamori High School was held.

The school was established in 2023 as Japan's first public high school manga department, and this is its first graduation exhibition. The venue displayed manga, color illustrations, and portfolios created by third-year students as the culmination of their studies so far.

The students showcased their individual talents through works that showcased the skills they had honed through special lessons at Coamix. Parents and local residents also attended the event and were seen attentively appreciating the artwork.

Coamix will continue to work with Takamori High School through its partnership to support education and revitalize the local community through manga.
