Coamix, in collaboration with the Kumamoto Prefectural Board of Education and Takamori Town, is working on the manga department at Takamori High School. A special youth support variety program, "Manga-chi ~The Manga Way of the Reiwa Era~," which closely follows the first graduating class of the department, will be broadcast.

Aiming to become bearers of Japanese culture loved around the world, these high school students immersed themselves in manga creation in Aso, Kumamoto. Three years after its founding, in the spring of 2026, the first class finally graduated. This program provides an in-depth look at their three-year challenge as they pursued their dreams and dedicated everything to manga, and the new steps they are taking towards the future.
A star-studded cast of voice actors gathered in the studio! MCs Hiro Shimono and Rika Mayama (from Shiritsu Ebisu Chugaku), along with special supporters Daisuke Namikawa and Mai Fuchigami, warmly watched over the high school students' passionate challenges.
The documentary will begin airing on KAB Kumamoto Asahi Broadcasting on May 30, 2026, and will subsequently be broadcast on stations throughout the Kyushu and Okinawa areas, as well as available for streaming on TVer.
