On Friday, April 24, 2026, Mr. Tatsuhira Maruyama, President and CEO of TAPP Co., Ltd. and a sculptor who has worked on the prototypes for bronze statues of characters from works such as "ONE PIECE" and "Captain Tsubasa," donated a statue of Raoh from "Fist of the North Star" to our foundation.
This donation is intended to support the development of young manga artists.
Also on the same day, a special lecture by Mr. Maruyama was held at the manga club of Kumamoto Prefectural Takamori High School, a project undertaken by Coamix in collaboration with the Kumamoto Prefectural Board of Education and Takamori Town. This opportunity to experience the techniques of a professional who has worked on world-class works was an invaluable learning experience for the students aspiring to become manga artists.
The "Fist of the North Star: Raoh Statue" that was donated to us will be on special display at Kumamoto Manga Arts for a limited time during the following period. Please come and see the overwhelmingly powerful sculpture up close.
