The Kumamoto International Manga Festival will be held on April 15th (Sat) and 16th (Sun).Detailed event details have been announced.
On the day of the event, we held a large-scale exhibition of nearly 100 silent manga works, including prize-winning works from the Kumamoto International Manga Festival, and a large-scale mosaic art of Kumamoto Castle created from 551 illustrations. We will hold a talk event and an award ceremony for winners invited from overseas.

Additionally, at the Kumamoto International Manga Festival, two live-action short movies will be specially filmed and screened at the venue in order to demonstrate the potential of video content based on silent manga.
The gorgeous cast and staff who agreed with the purpose of the event and the theme of the work created a wonderful video work for the people of Kumamoto.

Furthermore, this year's judges, manga artists Tsukasa Hojo, Tetsuo Hara, and Ryuji Tsugihara, have drawn key visuals to cheer up the people of Kumamoto and make them smile. Tetsuo Hara wrote about ``Kumamoto's symbol, Kiyomasa Kato,'' Tsukasa Hojo wrote about ``Ryo Saeba and his friends with a 100% reconstruction hammer on the theme of reconstruction,'' and Ryuji Tsugihara wrote about ``Running the Aso Highway.'' I am drawing "Thank you, everyone at Mechadoc".
